I finally did my first offical ghost hunt! A ghost hunting group from Texas (Ghost Seekers of Texas) came out to do an investigation of the Pensacola Lighthouse. We got to walk around with all kinds of gadgets, tried to capture EVP's, took pictures and video and lots more. It was so much fun. We didn't personally catch anything, but we're going out to the lighthouse for another investigation in a few weeks. I can't wait!

Congratulations! This is the time when folks either get hooked or realize that ghost hunting can be a real bore...(welcome to ghost hunting addiction to the former and good riddance to the latter). Lighthouses are amazing. You'll have to read my blog entry on lighthouses. I have a lot of theories on them. In fact, in my novel I'm writing about ghost hunters, they investigate a lighthouse and find that standing in the center of the bottom of it there's a sound issue that creates a kind of "surround sound" from the ocean outside and disorients people, making them feel as if someone's watching them all the time. Lighthouses are like funnels for rock and water energy and their round feature just makes them the feng shui guarantee for hauntings. Can't wait to hear about your future explorations. Keep it up!
